ServerBeach provides Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express on all new Windows servers free of charge. This is Microsoft's replacement for the older MSDE (Microsoft SQL Desktop Engine) product that used to be on our Windows servers. This lightweight database can handle small databases and is a great starting point for entry-level database requirements. If you need a more robust solution, we also offer Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Workgroup and Standard editions to scale with your needs.
